If you open or close the operation of a branch or dependent branch for the commercial manufacture and/or trade of weapons, you must report this.
Notification of the opening or closing of a branch or a dependent branch for the commercial manufacture and/or trade in weapons must be made in writing to the competent authority.
Failure to notify the competent authority constitutes a misdemeanor pursuant to Section 53 (1) (8) of the Weapons Act.
The weapons authority charges a fee in accordance with No. 1.1 of the Annex to the Thuringian General Administrative Costs Regulations.
The notification must be made by the holder of the firearms manufacturing or firearms trading license to the firearms authority responsible for the location of the branch or dependent branch.
Any person who fails to make the notification, or fails to make it correctly, completely, in the prescribed manner or in good time, shall be deemed to have committed an administrative offense. The administrative offense may be punished by a fine of up to ten thousand euros (§ 53 paragraph 1 No. 8 in conjunction with. Paragraph 2 WaffG).
