If you want to transport non-bottled wine products, you need a wine accompanying document.

You require a wine accompanying document for the transportation of wine products that have not been bottled.
Wine products are

• Grapes,
• grape must,
• mash,
• wine,
• sparkling wine,
• sparkling wine,
• liqueur wine and
• fortified wine.

The accompanying document entitles you to transport the wine products from the producer to the further processing or recovery point, e.g. to a winery. You are obliged to use an accompanying document.

• You transport non-bottled wine products of more than 60 liters.
• You transport wine products in labeled containers of more than 10 liters that are fitted with a non-reusable closure.
• The transportation route of wine products
  • from the vineyard to the wine-making plant,
  • between two plants belonging to the same company,
  • between the facilities of a producer association is over 70 kilometers.

There are currently no costs for online wine accompanying documents in Thuringia.

If you require an accompanying document for the wine transport, it can be issued in paper form or electronically and must be submitted to the inspection authority at the place of loading.

The wine accompanying document is issued immediately before the wine transport, when the wine has been loaded onto the transport vehicle and the final number of liters of the transport has been determined.

This accompanying document refers only to this transport and cannot be used for other transports.

As before, you will receive the form for the accompanying document for submission by post from the TLLLR.

• The 4-fold form must be completed legibly and in full.
• You give the original to the driver.

You keep the remaining three copies.

• The driver hands the original to the recipient of the wine shipment, e.g. the winery, at the destination.
• You send two copies by post to thetransport by post or by fax to the competentthe competent inspection authority at the place of loading (TLV)
• The remaining copy remains with your documents.

The electronic wine accompanying document procedure (eWeinBV) makes it possible to create the wine accompanying document online:

• Before the upcoming transportation, you need to register with the online service using an ELSTER company account with the corresponding ELSTER certificate and password (MUK).
• You will be guided step by step through the necessary details.
• Finally, you confirm that all the information provided is correct.
• The accompanying document is created, receives a unique reference number and is unchangeable for you. The transport can begin.
• You can manage submitted declarations and applications in the online service and find out about the current status.
• All parties involved (e.g. drivers, winery, commission agents) can call up the electronic wine accompanying document online or receive it digitally.

This is purely a transport notification; no processing or notification is carried out.
With the online service, the notification takes place immediately.

There is no deadline.

The accompanying document is created immediately before transportation. A transport permit from an authority is not required.

Accompanying document forms not used in the calendar year are invalid in the following year and must be returned to the TLLLR.
