The background procedure is as follows: Clarification of the responsibility of the construction authority, followed by an initial on-site inspection and check by the roadway inspection staff. The damage is recorded and the estimated costs for repair are determined. After coordination with the superiors, the service is commissioned to third parties. The road construction administration supervises and accepts the service.

Exact location of the damage, place, street name with house number, description of the road damage, photo if necessary.

The construction obligation for the road in question must lie with the State of Thuringia or the Federal Republic of Germany.
