Chamber members can apply for the deletion of their registration(s) at the Chamber of Engineers Thuringia according to § 21 para. 3 and 6 ThürAIKG.

The request for cancellation must be made in writing.

The entry of natural persons in the lists pursuant to Section 21 (3) and (6) shall be deleted pursuant to Section 13 ThürAIKG if the registered person

• is deceased
• requests this in writing to the chamber
• has given up his or her main residence, professional establishment or place of predominant professional activity in Thuringia and does not submit an application in accordance with Section 13 (6) sentence 1 ThürAIKG,
• main residence, professional establishment or the place of predominant professional activity can no longer be determined despite investigation; the period for investigation is 3 months,
• facts have occurred or become known after registration which would have to lead to refusal of registration in accordance with Section 12 (1) ThürAIKG in a registration procedure,
• the requirements for registration have not been met or no longer exist,
• the deletion of the registration has been recognized without appeal in honorary proceedings.

The registration(s) may be deleted if facts pursuant to Section 12 (2) No. 1 ThürAIKG have occurred or become known after the registration and no more than five years have passed since their occurrence.

The application for suspension must be made in writing, stating the reason and submitting proof and the time. The suspension can be applied for as of June 30 or December 31 of the current year for a maximum period of 5 years.

In accordance with § 2 para. 2 of the cost regulations of the Thuringian Chamber of Engineers, an extinguishing fee of € 50.00 will be charged (per invoice).

The decision to delete the registration(s) is made by the Registration Committee of the Thuringian Chamber of Engineers in accordance with § 26 ThürAIKG.

The deletion will take place at the end of the month or year of the submitted application.

The registration committee of the Thuringian Chamber of Engineers issues an appealable decision on the deletion.

An action against a decision of the Chamber of Engineers of Thuringia can be filed within one month after its receipt with the administrative court responsible for the place of residence of the person filing the application in writing or for recording by the clerk of the administrative court.

Preliminary proceedings or opposition proceedings do not take place.
