Public funding for recognized low-threshold care and respite services is possible subject to budget availability. However, there is no legal entitlement.
For recognized care and respite services that work with volunteers, a form-related written application can be submitted to the Gesellschaft für Arbeits- und Wirtschaftsförderung (GFAW) by November 30 for the following year.
