In order to conduct training courses for the teaching of specialist knowledge for the handling and traffic of explosive substances, you require state recognition by the competent authority.

- information on the exercise of the activity within the framework of a commercial enterprise,
- proof of liability insurance
If the application is incomplete, the competent authority will inform you which documents have to be submitted subsequently.
Proof of professional and personal suitability must be provided by submitting degrees, certificates and the clearance certificate, which should not be older than one year.
The course recognition is subject to a fee.
A fee range of EUR 150 to 1,000 is currently set for course recognition.
Course recognition is granted upon written or electronic application to the competent authority. The recognition is valid for the entire federal territory.
A decision on the application must be made within a period of 3 months. The period begins with the receipt of the complete documents. It may be reasonably extended once if this is justified by the difficulty of the matter. Reasons must be given for any extension of the deadline. You will be notified of it in good time before the original deadline expires.
The application for course recognition must be submitted in good time before the start of the first course.
The principles for the recognition and implementation of training courses according to the explosives law in the current version must be observed.
For operations subject to mining supervision, the Thuringian State Mining Office is the competent authority.
You can appeal against the decision on your application or against a decision that was not made in due time in accordance with the Administrative Court Code (action before the Administrative Court).
