Anerkennung von Weiterbildungsveranstaltungen beantragen

Providers of continuing education can have events recognized in accordance with § 9 of the Bildungsfreistellungsgesetz M-V. Employees in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern can be released from work to attend recognized continuing education events in accordance with the Bildungsfreistellungsgesetz M-V.

• Events must meet the following requirements:
  • They are in harmony with the free democratic basic order as defined by the Basic Law and with the constitution of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
  • They must comprise at least three days in block or interval form and, as a rule, an average of at least eight hours of instruction per day. Events in interval form must be designed in such a way that they are carried out in thematic and organizational continuity.
  • The educational event is planned, organized and carried out by the organizing institution on its own responsibility and with professional pedagogical responsibility.
  • The institution must ensure proper continuing education with regard to its equipment, teaching staff, educational objectives and the quality of its educational work. Further education institutions recognized under the Further Education Promotion Act of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern of May 20, 2011 (GVOBl. M-V p. 342ff), and institutions of the bodies responsible under the Vocational Training Act of March 23, 2005 (BGBl. I p. 931), shall be deemed to be appropriately qualified.
  • Participation in the events may not be made dependent on membership of a religious community, party, trade union or other association or institution. This does not exclude the recognition of events sponsored by such associations or institutions. Participation may be made dependent on pedagogically justified as well as target group-oriented prerequisites. The organizer shall publicize the events in a suitable manner.

Apply for recognition of the continuing education event at least ten weeks before the event begins via the online application portal.

A signed printout of the application must be sent to the competent authority.

The date of receipt of the printout by the competent authority is decisive for meeting the deadline.
