The entry in the installer directory is always made by the network operator and/or water supply company in whose network area the commercial branch of the installer company to be entered is located.

• Registration of main, ancillary and subsidiary companies within the meaning of the Handwerksordnung (HwO) or
• Installation companies (IU) within the meaning of the Low Voltage Connection Ordinance (NVA)
• Low Pressure Connection Ordinance (NDAV) and
• Ordinance on General Terms and Conditions for Water Supply (AVBWasserV) in the installer directory of electricity and gas network operators and water supply companies

Work on the construction, modification, repair and maintenance of electrical, gas and water supply systems requires the respective installation company to be entered in the installer register of the respective utility company. The entry in the installer directory is always made by the network operator and/or water supply company in whose network area the commercial branch of the installer company to be entered is located.

• Proof of professional qualification of the owner or the responsible specialist of the installation company (IU).
• Employment contract for the responsible specialist (not required if the company owner is the specialist himself)
• Proof of registration in the register of craftsmen or extract from the commercial register (for industrial and commercial companies)
• Business registration
• Proper equipment of the company in accordance with the applicable guidelines and principles (for work on electrical supply systems, proof of the successfully completed inspection of the workshop equipment by the respective electrical guild is required)

The fees for removal are set by the respective electricity and gas network operator and water supply company. As a rule, there are no fees for this. The inspection of the workshop equipment, which is required for registration in the installer register of the electricity network operators, is carried out by the responsible electrical guild at a charge.

The processing time depends on the respective electricity and gas network operator and water supply company.

The individual regulations of the respective electricity and gas network operators and water supply companies must be observed.
