Experts or bodies wishing to carry out measurements of emissions and immissions or safety tests or tests of safety-related documentation at operators of installations subject to the provisions of the Federal Immission Protection Act (BImSchG) must have been notified by the competent authorities in accordance with appropriate regulations.

The notification pursuant to Section 29b of the BImSchG shall only take place if the bodies or experts have previously demonstrated their competence and suitability. The requirements for the notification of "measuring points" or experts are based on the Notification Ordinance, the so-called 41st BImSchV and the respective guidelines of the Country Committee for Immission Protection for the notification of experts or bodies. Country-specific regulations do not exist in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

After notification as a notified body or expert, registration takes place in the search system (ReSyMeSa), module Immission Protection.

In Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, fees are charged under the Immission Protection Ordinance for notification, recognition or designation as a post or expert.

The announcement requires an application to the competent authority of the country. Experts within the meaning of Section 29a of the Federal Immission Control Act must have liability insurance.

The procedure for considering the request for disclosure must be completed within four months.
