If you are entitled to use the professional title "engineer" but cannot yet provide evidence of two years of practical engineering experience or if you are an engineering student, you can apply to be entered on the list of non-voting members.

As a member, you can take advantage of the services of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Chamber of Engineers. The chamber represents the interests of engineers in politics and business. It promotes exchange with other chambers and professional associations. You have the opportunity to work in committees, project groups and specialist groups of the chamber on a voluntary basis. As a non-voting member, you cannot yet have a say in important Chamber decisions. The Chamber offers members a comprehensive training program and other services.

• Proof of a professionally qualifying university degree (certificates) or
• Proof of enrollment at a university or technical college (student ID)
• Employment contract, references if applicable
• Police clearance certificate
• Curriculum vitae in tabular form

You must live or have your place of business or employment in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. You may use the professional title of engineer but do not yet have the required two years of practical professional experience as an engineer or you are a student studying engineering.

Application fee: EUR 100.00

Registration fee: EUR 50.00

Deletion fee: EUR 100.00

The application for entry in the list of non-voting voluntary members must be submitted in writing or electronically to the Chamber of Engineers.

• Missing documents will be requested subsequently.
• If the documents are complete, the Chamber's registration committee will decide on your application.
• You will receive a notification of the registration committee's decision.
