You can extend your category C, CE, C1, C1E driving license for five 5-year periods on application.
Your category C, CE, C1 or C1E driving license is valid for a maximum of 5 years. After that, you can apply to extend your license for a further 5 years.

- Proof of eyesight (not older than 2 years)
- Proof of physical and mental aptitude (not older than 1 year)
- The fee is based on the scale of fees for road traffic measures (GebOSt).
- If the driver's license is sent directly to your home address, an additional shipping fee will be charged.
- Driving license with a limited period of validity; extension for categories C, CE, C1 or C1E
- Can be extended by five years on application
