You want to erect a temporary structure for an event. To do so, you must notify the lower building supervisory authority at the installation site.

If you wish to erect a temporary structure that requires a building permit for an event, you must notify the lower building supervisory authority at the place of erection.

Temporary structures are structures that are suitable and intended to be set up and dismantled repeatedly. Examples include merry-go-rounds, air swings, Ferris wheels, roller coasters and slides, grandstands, stalls, tents and structures for aerial performances, as well as stages and canopies for cabarets and concerts.

The lower building supervisory authority will check the notification and may carry out an on-site inspection (acceptance of use) for a fee. The result of the inspection is entered in the inspection logbook. If a prohibition has been entered in the inspection book, you must restore the building to a proper condition. If this is not done within a reasonable time or if there is imminent danger, you may not put the temporary structure into operation. In this case, the lower building supervisory authority will decide whether to withdraw the inspection logbook.

If a temporary structure is to be erected in one place for longer than three months, a subsequent inspection may be carried out by the lower building supervisory authority.
