If you wish to use a fishing vessel for eel fishing, you must register it with the competent authority.

If you wish to use a fishing vessel for eel fishing, you must register the vessel with the upper fisheries authority.

If your fishing vessel is registered in the fishing fleet register of the European Community or has an official marking, this must be indicated during registration.

For other fishing vessels (non-registered inland fishing vessels), the following information is required at registration:

1. Type of construction
2. Length according to own measurement
3. Motorization in terms of engine type and
4. Official registration number of the vessel issued according to other legal regulations, which must be carried on the vessel

Your registration number must be visible on the fishing vessel.

• You register the fishing vessel with the competent authority before starting eel fishing.
• You fill out the form in writing and send it by e-mail or mail.
• Your registered fishing vessel for eel fishing will then be included in the fishing register.
