The Plant Protection Service may, on application, approve the use of an authorized plant protection product in an area of application other than those specified in the authorization in individual cases.

The Plant Protection Service may, on application, authorize the use of an authorized plant protection product in an area of application other than that specified in the authorization in individual cases if

1. the application is intended
   1. on plants that are only cultivated on a small scale, or
   2. against harmful organisms that only cause significant damage in certain areas,

and

1. the intended use corresponds to that in an area of application specified in the authorization.

In addition to the authorization holder, the following may apply for authorization

1. the person who uses plant protection products for commercial purposes or in the context of other commercial enterprises in an agricultural, horticultural or forestry business,
2. legal entities whose members are persons as defined in number 1.

The following form must be completed in full and submitted to the Plant Protection Service:

The application for authorization on a case-by-case basis may be approved if the following application is envisaged:

• on plants that are only cultivated on a small scale, or
• against harmful organisms that only cause significant damage in certain areas.

• First application: EUR 50.00
• Subsequent application: EUR 25.00

The application for approval in individual cases for the use of an authorized plant protection product in areas of application other than those specified in the authorization is available online.

The completed form must be sent by post to the State Office for Agriculture, Food Safety and Fisheries M-V.

Applications must be submitted at least three weeks before the intended treatment. Permits are generally issued for two years.
