Implementation of the EU Common Agricultural Policy

What is supported?

Basic premium including the greening payment for the proper and ecological management of agricultural land and an additional premium for the first 46 hectares as well as a further premium for young farmers for 90 hectares.

Who is eligible?

Agricultural enterprises, regardless of their legal form.

How is support provided?

Basic premium (as part of the farm payment entitlements):
A payment entitlement is activated by means of the proper management of one hectare of agricultural land, including a greening payment if certain requirements are met in the context of crop diversification, the maintenance of ecological priority areas above certain area sizes and for the maintenance of permanent grassland.

Redistribution premium:
Farmers are granted an additional premium for the first 46 hectares. The redistributive payment is approximately EUR 50.00 per hectare for the first 30 hectares and EUR 30.00 per hectare for the next 16 hectares.

Young farmer premium:
Young farmers who meet the requirements of Article 50 of Regulation (EU) No 1307/2013 will be paid a further premium of approximately EUR 44.00 per hectare for the first 90 hectares.

Small producer scheme:
Participation in the small producer scheme in accordance with Article 61 of Regulation (EU) No. 1307/2013 has no longer been possible since the 2016 application year.

Assignments of agricultural aid for the application year 2022 can only be taken into account by the granting authorities in accordance with the agreement contained in the single application if they are notified to the Office in accordance with the deadlines specified in the agreement and using the linked form.

The premiums are granted on application. The collective application with the required documents must be submitted to the responsible State Office for Agriculture and the Environment by May 15 of the respective application year.
