Breitensport Förderung

The funding serves to support and further develop sport and exercise, especially in the areas of recreational, popular, disabled and health sports to provide citizens with sporting opportunities in the state of M-V and the associated sports infrastructure. Funding is provided for projects, sports events, international sports contacts and measures to maintain and further expand the network of sports facilities.

In principle, the following are eligible for funding

• Model experiments, projects and activities in sports to promote selected target groups, in particular children and young people, women and girls, people with disabilities, people with a migration background and socially disadvantaged people, as well as development-relevant key topics such as sport and health, sport and inclusion or sport and the environment ;
• Sports events with regional, national and international significance;
• international sports contacts, in particular activities within the framework of sports-oriented domestic and foreign measures with a meeting character, which enable the participants to gain a mutual awareness of the culture in other countries and regions as well as a better understanding beyond the sporting comparison and against the background of the develop and expand bilateral sports contacts against the backdrop of the European unification process, but also revive club relationships that have been temporarily suspended . as well as
• modernizing and repairing as well as building, expanding and converting municipal and club-owned sports facilities and equipping them with sports equipment to provide usable sports space in line with demand.

State funds are provided in the form of non-repayable grants. There is no legal entitlement to funding.

For the promotion of projects, sports events as well as international sports contacts, the measure carrier submits to the

by 30 November of the previous year an informal information request with the following data:

• detailed description of the planned measure,
• intended financing model based on a cost estimate,
• expected group of participants,
• planned implementation period.

(In justified individual cases, applications for information may also be submitted at a later date, but no later than October 31 of the year of the grant).

The pre-checked informal applications for information will be handed over to the State Funding Institute of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as the granting authority for further processing.
The applicant will be informed in writing by the State Funding Institute whether funding for the measure is being considered or rejected.

The formal application including forms can be requested from the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Funding Institute or downloaded from the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Funding Institute homepage ( www.lfi-mv.de ) under the heading ,,Förderungen". The complete application for a grant is to be submitted on the basis of the application documents to:

3) Guideline for the promotion of sports facility construction (Sportstättenbaurichtlinie - SportstbRL M-V) of March 25, 2015.

For the promotion of construction projects the measure carrier submits

a) Applicant: municipal sponsors, the state sports federation or other non-profit sponsors .

by November 30 for the respective following year, initially an informal information request with the following information:

• detailed description of the planned construction measure,
• intended financing model on the basis of a cost estimate,
• description of the circle of users of the sports facility,
• planned realization period
• proof of ownership (according to number 4.5 of the SportstbRL).

The Ministry of Education, Science and Culture examines the eligibility and financial feasibility of the planned construction measure and, if necessary, conducts planning consultations with the applicant. After the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture has decided on the selection of projects to be funded, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Funding Institute and the project sponsor are informed in writing of the result of the funding selection. The project sponsor then submits a complete application for a grant to the:

For the promotion of building projects the measure carrier submits

b) Applicants: sports clubs and sports associations

via the responsible Scity and district sports associations to

by November 30 for the respective following year, first submit an informal information request with the following information:

• detailed description of the planned construction measure,
• intended financing model on the basis of a cost estimate,
• description of the circle of users of the sports facility,
• planned realization period,
• proof of ownership (according to number 4.5 of the SportstbRL)
• Presentation of the economic efficiency.

The Landessportbund examines the eligibility for funding and the financial feasibility of the planned construction measures. For funding area I, the state sports federation compiles a proposal list of all available project applications for the respective year on the basis of the defined project selection criteria for measures of the development program for the rural area of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern 2014 to 2020. After discussion and corresponding resolution by the presidium and the state sports day, the proposal list is submitted to the Ministry for Education, Science and Culture for approval.

For funding area II, the Landessportbund makes the funding selection for the individual measures and submits the list of measures in summary form to the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. After approval of the selection of projects to be funded, the State Sports Federation informs the project sponsor of the result of the funding selection. The project sponsor then submits a complete application for a grant to the:
