In the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Soil Information System (FISBO M-V) you can view information on the soils of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
The Geological Service MV provides data on the soil in M-V. You can independently query how the soil is structured throughout the state or at a specific location.
This data is stored digitally in databases such as
- the profile database
- the laboratory database
- the peatland site catalog
and as area data in geographic information systems such as
- the soil overview map 1:200,000 (BÜK200)
- the concept soil map 1:25,000 (KBK25)
are available.
You receive thematic information on the distribution of soils, on certain soil parameters such as field capacity or rooting depth. You will also receive information on soil functions.
Thematic evaluations contain, for example, information on the risk of erosion.
