Individual federal states contribute to the costs of providing university places by charging students at their universities general tuition fees or tuition fees. In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, no tu ition fees are currently charged to students at state universities.
Universities may charge reasonable fees, contributions or charges for certain administrative services and for the use of their facilities. To find out whether these are levied, and if so, how much, please contact the respective university.
Student contributions are levied for the student bodies of the universities and for the student unions in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The amount of the contribution ( "Semesterbeitrag") is regulated in the respective contribution regulations.
