There may be various reasons why you no longer wish to operate an X-ray device. The termination of operation may be, for example, the sale or disposal of the X-ray equipment. In any case, you must inform the competent authority for radiation protection as soon as possible.

• Proof of disposal or
• Proof of the whereabouts of the X-ray equipment or
• Proof of inoperability

The approved or notified operation of an X-ray facility has been or will be terminated. The notification is made by you as the person responsible for radiation protection, authorized representative or radiation protection officer.
