If there are frequent conflicts between you and your children, you can make use of educational counselling.

It is intended to help

• re-establish a basis for discussion between you and your children,
• Resolve conflicts in parenting and
• prevent further serious problems.

As a rule, no documents are required for educational counselling. If further support measures are decided during the counselling, the competent office will inform you about the required documents and evidence.

You feel you can no longer cope with your children.

There are no costs for educational counselling.

Make an appointment for counselling at the competent office. If possible, arrange it with your child and bring him or her to the appointment. However, you can also come alone.

The next steps will be discussed at this meeting.

If the professionals come to the conclusion that additional support measures are necessary, you can apply for them at the responsible youth welfare officeyou can apply for them at the responsible youth welfare office. Additional measures can be, for example

• Educational assistance
• Education in a day group
• Social pedagogical family support
