If your debit or credit card is lost or stolen, you should have it blocked as soon as possible to prevent misuse.

The following information is required:
- Name of the bank,
- account number,
- bank sort code,
- for credit cards, the type and full credit card number.

In Germany, it is also possible to have your EC or credit cards blocked via the system for combating crime in non-cash payment transactions by using non-police organizational structures (KUNO). The police are electronically connected to retailers and network operators and can transfer the card data to the blocking files of the cash register systems at the request of the reporting party. This means that card payments can no longer be made at companies connected to KUNO.

The reissue of an EC or credit card may be associated with costs. Please contact your bank or credit card company directly in this regard.
