The Landeszentrale für politische Bildung offers information and discussions on all areas of politics and publishes publications on political education.

The State Center for Political Education awakens, promotes and deepens the willingness of citizens to actively participate in the state and society. It offers information and discussions on all areas of politics and seeks dialog with the people. It publishes publications on political education and promotes political education work.

Since January 1, 2011, it has been a staff unit under the President of the Schleswig-Holstein State Parliament. From there, the aim is to emphasize the regional focus of political education work and to strengthen the focus on young target groups. The state center plays a coordinating role in a network of political education.

It is supported by a board of trustees consisting of education politicians from all political groups and representatives of social institutions and associations.

Fees of between € 0.50 and € 11.00 per title are charged for the submission of publications.
A shipping fee of € 1.00 to € 5.00 per parcel is added for delivery.
Issues of the Federal Agency are excluded from the cost regulation.

The publications can only be distributed to citizens of Schleswig-Holstein.
