Act on the use of the professional titles of architect, urban planner and consulting engineer and on the establishment of a Chamber of Architects and Engineers (Architects' and Engineers' Chamber Act - ArchIngKG).

Overview of the tasks of the Chamber of Architects and Engineers.

The tasks of the Chamber of Architects and Engineers are diverse. These include, for example

• Representing the interests of the profession,
• Appointment, swearing-in and nomination of experts,
• Defining and monitoring professional duties,
• Settlement of disputes as an arbitration board,
• Preparation of expert opinions (in particular on professional issues) at the request of authorities or courts,
• Promotion of building culture, the building industry, landscape conservation and urban development,
• professional training and further training of members and other persons entered in the lists pursuant to Section 15 (1) Nos. 1 to 5 and 7 ArchIngKG,
• Maintaining the lists and registers in accordance with Section 15 of the Chamber of Architects and Engineers Act (ArchIngKG) and issuing the certificates and information required for practicing the profession.
