If the business license (subject to licensing) has been revoked, the competent authority may allow the business to be continued by a deputy upon application.

If your license to operate a business requiring a permit has been revoked due to unreliability, the competent authority may, at your request, allow you to continue the business operation through a deputy who offers the guarantee of proper management of the business operation.

The deputy must meet the requirements prescribed for the relevant trade.

Permission may be granted for a limited period of time and subject to ancillary provisions.

• Identity card or passport,
• Extract from the commercial, association or cooperative register, if applicable,
• if applicable, certificate of good conduct/extract from the central trade register,
• Trade license, if applicable,
• Proof of showman's liability insurance, if applicable.

There are currently fees of 150.00 euros in accordance with the state ordinance on administrative fees.

A distinction must be made between a trade ban and a business ban in accordance with Section 16 (3) of the Crafts Code (HwO).

To the municipal, local or city administration in whose district the business is located.
