Anyone wishing to trade livestock commercially, transport it or operate an assembly center must report this.

If you

• trade commercially in livestock or
  
• transport livestock commercially or as part of the division of labor in livestock production or
  
• want to operate an assembly center,
  

you must notify the competent authority. Changes must also be reported immediately.

The notification must contain the following information:

• Name and address,
• in the case of the operation of a collection point: the location of the collection point.

Fees are charged in accordance with the respective schedule of costs or fees. Detailed information can be obtained from the responsible office.

Approval must be granted before the start of the activity.
