Requirements:
- The persons entrusted with the eye tests must have the required expertise,
- the equipment used complies with the legal requirements
- the premises allow the test to be carried out without the presence of third parties,
- regular medical supervision of the procedure is ensured.
According to No. 214.2 Fee schedule for road traffic measures (GebOSt): 51.10 Euro to 307.00 Euro
The following agencies are already recognized as eye test centers and do not need to submit an application:
- Assessment centers for driving fitness (§ 66 FeV),
- Doctors of the public health department or other doctors of the public administration,
- Doctors with the specialty title "occupational medicine",
- Doctors with the additional title "occupational medicine",
- Opticians' businesses (§ 67 Para. 4 FeV).
