Bodies that provide first aid training for obtaining a driver's license require official recognition.

Prerequisites:

• There are no facts that make the applicant (in the case of legal entities, the persons authorized to represent them according to the law or the articles of association) and the training personnel appear unreliable for instruction in life-saving emergency measures and training in first aid.
• The qualification of the training personnel has been proven.
• Suitable training rooms and the necessary teaching materials for theoretical instruction and practical exercises are available.

Recognition may be limited in time and subject to conditions (in particular with regard to the further training of the persons involved in the instruction and training).

In preparation for its decision, the competent body may order the submission of an expert opinion on whether the requirements for recognition are met. Further information on this can be obtained from the competent body.

The fees in accordance with No. 214.3 of the German Road Traffic Fee Regulations (GebOSt) range from 51.10 euros to 511.00 euros. Further information can be obtained from the responsible office.

There are no deadlines to be observed.
