Due to a serious illness or an accident, you, a family member or a loved one may suddenly be in need of a life-saving organ or tissue transplant.
Organ and tissue donation is voluntary and a personal decision. The donation, removal and transfer of organs and tissues are clearly regulated by law. If you decide to do so, you should document this in writing in the organ donor card if possible. This makes it easy for your relatives, as they would otherwise have to be asked about the deceased person's presumed wishes and make a decision in accordance with their wishes.
