If you want to strengthen the performance and competitiveness of your small business by stimulating digitization activities, you can receive funding for the implementation of digitization measures under certain conditions.

This funding can be applied for by small commercial enterprises with their registered office or permanent establishment in Schleswig-Holstein. The subsidized investments in hardware and software must be used in the company in Schleswig-Holstein.

• Extract from the commercial register
• Alternatively: Business registration in conjunction with a copy of the identity card of the person(s) authorized to represent the company
• Offer(s) or evidence of market/price research for the implementation services to be obtained
• A meaningful project description, which in particular implements the results of the consultation and shows the intended digitization goal
• De minimis certificates for the last three fiscal years
• Annex to the cross-sectional objectives (scoring sheet)

• The project must not have been started yet.
• The company must have its registered office or place of business in Schleswig-Holstein.
• Your company must be a small business.
• Achievement of a substantially improved digital positioning of the company.
• Contribution of the project to the state government's goal of using 50% of ERDF funds for projects relevant to climate protection and energy transition.
• The Implementation module can only be used after the Consulting module has been completed. Alternatively, it can be used if the applicant company has received funding from the federal go-digital program for consulting services within the last 18 months before submitting the application.
• An extract from the commercial register is also required. If there is no entry in the commercial register, a business registration must be submitted together with a copy of the identity card of the person(s) authorized to represent the company.
• The calculated costs amount to a minimum of 10,000 euros and a maximum of 200,000 euros.
  

The application for funding for low-threshold digitization measures in small companies - Module 2 (implementation) can be applied for online.

• It is a one-step procedure in which the application is submitted directly.
• Registration with the state's company account
• Preparation and submission of the application
• If an early start of the measure has been applied for, a written approval for the early start will be issued. The project can then begin.
• Final review of the application by the granting authority
• Issue of a grant notification (in the event of a positive review)
• Supporting documents and evidence must be submitted for the reimbursement of eligible expenditure.
  

The information specified as relevant to the subsidy in the application and in the other documents to be submitted is relevant to the subsidy. A declaration to this effect must be submitted as part of the application. The granting authority must be informed immediately of any changes to facts relevant to the subsidy. In the event of deliberate or reckless misrepresentation, prosecution for subsidy fraud must be expected.

The grant under these guidelines is de minimis aid. The total amount of de minimis aid granted to a company may not exceed EUR 200,000 gross over a period of three fiscal years. The three-year period is fluid, i.e. the total amount of de minimis aid granted in the current fiscal year and in the previous two fiscal years must be determined each time new de minimis aid is granted

  • In the implementation module, projects are funded that are aimed at implementing the individual solutions found in the company, including the necessary training of employees.
  • The implementation module can be used after the consulting module has been completed. Alternatively, it can also be applied for if the small company has already received funding from the federal go-digital program for consulting services within the last 18 months before submitting the application and the implementation is now to take place.
  • Offers or proof of market/price research for the implementation services to be obtained
  • This funding can be applied for by small commercial enterprises based or operating in Schleswig-Holstein.
  • Implementation is carried out on the basis of a consultancy report drawn up in advance from the consultancy module or the go-digital consultancy.
  • The digital positioning of the company is substantially improved.
  • The project contributes to the cross-cutting objectives of the European Regional Development Fund program.
  • The project contributes to the state government's goal of using 50 percent of the European Regional Development Fund's resources for projects relevant to climate protection and energy transition (saving greenhouse gases through the digitization processes applied for and/or supporting environmentally friendly production processes and resource efficiency).
  • The calculated costs for investments in hardware and software as well as for the associated services for the digitization project amount to at least EUR 10,000 or a maximum of EUR 200,000.
  • The funded measure should be completed within 18 months.
  • Funding is available for hardware, software, services and training measures
  • Costs for own personnel are compensated at a flat rate of 20%.
  • The grant amounts to 40% of the eligible costs
