Ausnahmegenehmigung zum Fischen in Fischwegen beantragen

If you wish to fish in fishways, you must prove that this is for the purpose of scientifically verifying the functionality of the fishway or for reasons of fish species protection. Fishing in fishways is generally prohibited.

Fishing of any kind is prohibited in fishways and 25 meters above and below a fishway.

If you wish to obtain a permit to fish in fishways from the higher fisheries authority, the authority will allow you to catch fish for the purpose of scientifically testing the functionality of the fishway or for reasons of fish species protection

• You apply for the permit to the higher fisheries authority.
• The upper fisheries authority will review your application.
• The permit allows you to fish in fishways.
• The authority will send you the approval orrejection of the application.

Application deadline: Before the first fishing in fishways

The exemptions do not replace the required private fishing permits. This also applies to research purposes.

An appeal against this decision may be lodged within one month of notification. The objection must be lodged with the State Office for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Areas of Schleswig-Holstein (Hamburger Chaussee 25, 24220 Flintbek).
