Fischereilicher Hegeplan

If you use your fishing rights, you are obliged to draw up a management plan.

If you hold a fishing license and use it on open waters, you must draw up a management plan for the fish stock and the aquatic fauna and flora.

In it, you describe the fishing effort, your catches and your stocking and conservation measures.

You must have this management plan approved by the higher fisheries authority.

They draw up a management plan that shows the following:

• Fishing effort,
• catches,
• stocking and other management measures.

You apply to the higher fisheries authority for approval of this management plan using the form provided. The authority will check whether your management plan is suitable for the nature of the water and the fish population there and is in line with current fishing legislation. In the event of any discrepancies, these will be clarified with you. You will be notified of the result of the examination.

• Period of validity: 3 - 5 years
• A new hunting plan must be drawn up on February 1st after the expiry of the validity period
