Maßnahmen zur Prävention und Ausgleich bei Schäden durch Wölfe

On application, certain measures for the protection of migrating and transiting wolves in Schleswig-Holstein can be funded.

The state of Schleswig-Holstein grants subsidies for various measures to protect the population of migrating wolves in Schleswig-Holstein (wolf guidelines) in accordance with the guidelines for the granting of subsidies for various measures to protect migrating wolves in Schleswig-Holstein.

The following measures in particular can be funded:

1. Measures to increase the acceptance of repopulation, public relations work,
2. investment and non-investment measures to prevent damage caused by wolves,
3. Compensation for damage caused by wolves, especially to domestic animals.

• Costs and financing plan,
• Declaration on funding from other bodies,
• Declaration as to whether input tax is deductible in general or for the project in question in accordance with Section 15 of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG),
• in the case of payments in wolf areas, suitable proof of preventive measures taken,
• Declaration on de minimis aid when applying for agricultural aid.
