Every year, about 3,200 babies are born in Kiel maternity clinics. The Child Protection Centre Kiel and the state capital give the parents from Kiel and the surrounding area a special gift: the welcome folder "? Children easy!". It contains many answers to questions parents ask after the birth of their infant. It includes tips and information for the first year of life, important addresses and phone numbers, and small gifts for parents and children. In the welcome folder, important documents for the child such as the yellow U-booklet, vaccination certificates or insurance documents as well as personal memories (photos, congratulation cards and the like) can be kept.

The folders are handed over in the Kiel maternity clinics. In the meantime, the district plön has joined the project and is issuing its own folder, which is handed over via the established pediatricians in the district of Plön.
