If roads, confluences, footpaths or other areas of the public (individual) transport network are no longer freely accessible due to uncut trees, bushes, hedges or the like, the competent administration must be notified. The same applies when sprawling hedges restrict the movement of pedestrian sands and bicycles - this particularly puts children, older citizens and people with disabilities at risk.
Hedges and shrubs must therefore be cut back to the property boundary. A strong cutback in the winter months facilitates the care during the growing season. Branches protruding over the traffic area must be removed if the necessary passage on public areas (2.50 m for walking and cycling paths) or the passage (regularly 4.50 m for roadways) could be impaired. On the plots, necessary visual triangles at confluences and entrances must be observed, which must not grow. Traffic signs and street lights must be kept free. In addition, care should be taken to ensure that the sidewalk is free of wild herbs. This promotes the outflow of the surface water into the gutan and reduces puddle formation.
In this sense, the administration checks roads and roads and, if necessary, alerts those responsible to hazards or disabilities. Where there is an acute danger to traffic on roads, footpaths and cycle paths, the administration can take action itself by means of replacement and charge for the costs incurred.
