The Chamber of Skilled Crafts must be notified of any new management or changes to the management of a craft business subject to licensing. The management of a craft business must have the professional qualifications required to practice the craft requiring a license. This can be a master craftsman's examination for the respective craft, but also an equivalent domestic or foreign professional qualification or an exemption permit or authorization to practice.

Both the owners of a craft business and employed persons can be considered as company management. In the latter case, the application for registration must be submitted together with a manager's declaration and supplementary documents.

The tasks of the business manager include, among other things

• to control, supervise and monitor the technical workflow and not to limit themselves to merely checking the work results,
• directing employees and issuing the necessary instructions,
• to prevent and, if necessary, correct deficiencies in the execution of the work,
• to ensure that there are no violations of legal regulations or operating instructions,
• regularly visit the individual work sites to monitor the execution of the work,
• be available at all times during working hours and be available and ready for action at short notice in urgent and emergency situations.

Company management by the owner:

Management by employed person:

• Proof of qualification (copy of master craftsman examination certificate, etc.)
• Manager's declaration
