Farm owners receive direct payments for the cultivation of agricultural land, the provision of special ecological services and/or the keeping of ewes, goats or cows.
This subsidy is used to support the cultivation of agricultural land and/or the keeping of ewes, goats or cows within the framework of direct payments as basic income support, supplementary redistributive income support, income support for young farmers, coupled income support and eco-schemes.
- Proof of identity for new applicants by means of identity card, passport or driver's license
- Proof in relation to the "active business owner" check
- For legal entities: Presentation of the articles of association, articles of incorporation, excerpt from the register of associations/commercial register/register of cooperatives
- Proof in the case of legal entities of effective and long-term control with regard to the management, profits and financial risks in the applicant company for the young farmer premium

Information on supplementary income support for young farmers:The young farmer must be setting up on a farm for the first time and have effective long-term control over the farm. When applying for the first time, the young farmer must not have reached the age of 40. In addition, proof of appropriate agricultural qualifications must be provided. It must be checked in each individual case whether the requirements are met.
- Applications for direct payments are submitted annually as part of the joint application by 15.05. of the current year exclusively via an online application (AsDigital).
- Depending on other requirements, applications for the individual components such as basic income support, supplementary redistributive income support, supplementary income support for young farmers and organic schemes are submitted as part of the joint application.
- Already registered applicants can download and start the application program directly.
- New applicants must first complete the "Software request for agricultural support" form online. They will then receive the access data to download and start the electronic application.
- For farm transfers (farm handover or start-up): In the event of a change in farm ownership or other operational changes (change of legal or company form, change of residence or name), it is not permitted to submit an application under the previous applicant number or with the old master data. You will need a new applicant number for this. To do this, complete the farm transfer form and the "Software request for agricultural support" form before submitting your application.
There is no statutory processing deadline for applications for the support program.
Direct payments must be made by June 30 of the year following the year of application at the latest.
This is a non-repayable grant. The information contained in your application, the provisions on which the grant is based and the circumstances specified in Section 4 SubvG that are relevant to the granting, awarding, reclaiming and continuation or retention of this grant are facts relevant to the grant within the meaning of Section 264 of the German Criminal Code.
