- In the case of building demolition: sketch clearly showing which building was demolished
- If the type of use of a part of the parcel already demarcated in the property register is changed: sketch clearly showing which part of the parcel is affected
- One building was completely demolished
- The use of a parcel of land has been changed. The new use must include a part of the parcel already demarcated in the property register or the entire parcel.
Please note: If you
- have demolished part of a building, or
- change the use of an area not delineated in the property register,
you must apply for a fee-based cadastral survey from a publicly appointed surveyor (Öffentlich bestellter Vermessungsingenieur, ÖbVI).
Further Information
- If you demolish a building or change the use of a parcel of land, it is possible that there are public law requirements or restrictions. In addition to notifying the lower surveying authority, you may have to make further notifications or apply for authorisations.
- If you want to demolish buildings that have renewable energy installations, you must notify the lower building supervisory authority responsible one month before starting the measure.
Change of use:
- If you have changed the use of your parcel, inform the lower surveying authority of the new use and, if necessary, attach a sketch.
- The lower surveying authority will check whether the change can be made on the basis of your information and update the property register.
- You will be informed of the change to the land register in writing or - in the case of more extensive changes - as part of a disclosure.
