Compensation for continued payment of wages or loss of earnings due to deployment in civil protection in accordance with § 62 Law on Fire Protection, Rescue Services and Civil Protection (SächsBRKG)

If one of your employees is involved in disaster protection, you as a private employer can apply for reimbursement of wage costs in the event of deployment. During the deployment, the volunteers are released from work and continue to receive their salary as usual. This applies to ordered deployments, exercises, training courses and other training events.

If you are self-employed, you can also apply for compensation for loss of earnings incurred during the deployment, exercise or training event.

If the assignment was ordered by an authority, the authority will pay the compensation.

Depending on the regulations of the district office, you can apply for compensation for loss of earnings in writing or online. Use the online application or forms if they are available in Amt24 (see -> Online application and forms).

The district office will check your claim, contact you if necessary and transfer the expenses to the account indicated.
