Statutes / user regulations of the respective library

The stock of public libraries is open to everyone. In order to use the books, journals and all other media, you usually have to register with the respective library. Generally, you will receive a library card with your registration and an electronic user account will be set up for you. The user account is used to book loans and charges.

Library registration is possible in person, in writing or electronically, depending on the regulations. If available for your location, you can register online via Amt24 (see -> Online application and forms).
