Application for confirmation of the equivalence of a foreign professional qualification with a federally regulated qualification in forestry occupations (recognized training occupations).
If you have completed a vocational qualification or training abroad and intend to work in Germany, you can have the equivalence of your vocational qualification determined by the competent authority. This involves a review of a training certificate acquired abroad with regard to its equivalence with a "reference occupation" regulated under federal law.
This right applies regardless of the applicant's nationality and residence status. In the green professions, anyone with a residence permit and a work permit can work in Germany even without recognition of the training occupation.
The reference occupations in the forestry sector include the recognized training occupations in accordance with Section 4 of the Vocational Training Act (-> see "Requirements").

For this procedure, you can use the service of the Single Point of Contact. They will guide you through the administrative procedure, take care of correspondence with all the offices responsible for your request and will be available to you as a competent advisor.

- proof of relevant professional experience or other proof of qualifications, if these are required to establish equivalence, and
