To find the right daycare centre for your child, you should first look for facilities that are close to your home or workplace. In larger cities, you can obtain a free list of all daycare centres from the city council.

You can use the overview to make an initial selection, for example, not all centres accept children under the age of three. Contact the management of the desired centre. Ask about the number of childcare places on offer and the main focus of the centre.

Note: Organise a place in the crèche in good time!

• Registration: no later than six months before the desired start of childcare (applies to all providers).
• Registration at short notice is possible if a childcare place is available. Enrolment before the birth is not possible.
• Exception: Daycare centres with permission to accept children after the end of the maternity protection period (children aged eight weeks)
