The KfW Programme Renewable Energies "Standard" provides low-interest financing for renewable energy projects
What is promoted?
- The use of renewable energies, for example, through the construction of photovoltaic, solar collector, biomass and biogas plants, plants for the energetic use of geothermal energy, plants for combined heat and power generation and energy contracting.
- In addition to modernisation measures, second-hand plants can also be financed.

- Private individuals and non-profit investors who feed at least part of the electricity into the grid

- 0.25% commitment fee if not drawn down one month after commitment
You can apply for the loan through your local bank. Alternatively, you can contact the Sächsische Aufbaubank. They will advise you on whether the funding is suitable for your project and submit the application to KfW. Once the loan has been approved, you can draw down the amount via your bank.
