The "Rural Development" guideline provides funding for projects that safeguard and further develop rural areas as places to live, work, recreate and enjoy nature. The projects are intended to contribute to a positive development of the agricultural structure and a sustainable strengthening of economic power.
For which Projects are Grants Possible?
- Rural reorganisation in accordance with the Flurbereinigungsgesetz (FlurbG) and the Landwirtschaftsanpassungsgesetz (LwAnpG)
- Measures of the framework plan "Gemeinschaftsaufgabe Agrarstruktur und Küstenschutz" (GAK framework plan) Funding area 1, measure group A, Integrated Rural Development
Note: Funding for GAK projects only after a separate call by the Saxon State Ministry for Regional development

There is no legal entitlement to funding.

- Communities of participants and their associations
- Water and soil associations and similar legal entities
- Individual participants
- In the case of voluntary land swaps: the swap partners and other persons involved in the swap
