• Verordnung über die gewerbsmäßige Vermietung von Sportbooten sowie deren Benutzung auf den Binnenschifffahrtsstraßen (BinSch-SportbootVermV)

A pleasure craft may only be hired out if it is technically authorised for this purpose. The technical licence is issued upon application by the Landesdirektion Sachsen (shipping authority) in the form of a boat certificate.

Any structural or other changes to the recreational craft that may affect its navigability must be reported immediately to the Landesdirektion Sachsen. Such changes will be entered in the boat certificate by the shipping authority if the company has proven that the recreational craft is still fit to sail.

EUR 20.00 per boat licence

The application for the issue/renewal of the boat certificate is submitted to the Landesdirektion Sachsen (shipping authority). You can obtain the prescribed application form here in Amt24 (-> Forms and other offers).
