Damaged areas such as frost heave, potholes, major longitudinal and transverse unevenness, open joints and cracks on carriageways, inadequate carriageway drainage and obstacles on carriageways jeopardise road safety. The respective road authorities are responsible for repairing these.

If you wish to report damage to federal roads, please contact the Landesamt für Straßenbau und Verkehr (LASuV). If the road runs through a town with more than 80,000 inhabitants, inform the local town council.

Note: Only in exceptional cases will you be notified that the damage has been repaired.
