Recognition of continuing education events according to the continuing education regulations of the East German Chamber of Psychotherapists (OPK)

As an organizer of continuing education courses, you can have them accredited by the East German Chamber of Psychotherapists (OPK) upon application. The accreditation serves as a preliminary confirmation. This means that continuing education events fulfill the content-related requirements for accreditation, provided that they are carried out properly. Accreditation is accompanied by an evaluation of the continuing education event with continuing education points.

As an organizer, you are entitled to make public reference to the accreditation. You are also entitled to issue certificates that have been awarded continuing education points.

For this procedure, you can use the service of the Single Point of Contact . They will guide you through the administrative procedure, take care of correspondence with all the offices responsible for your request and will be available to you as a competent advisor.

The application cannot be reviewed without the following documents:

• Description of the content of the training programme
• Information on speakers and their qualifications
• Detailed schedule of the training programme

For accreditation, continuing education courses must meet the following criteria:

• scientific nature of the content
• applicability to professional practice
• qualification of speakers and supervisors
• quality of the training methods used
• verifiability of the training success

Upon your application, you will receive a notification of accreditation and - if the notification is positive - a copyable certificate of attendance.

• You will only receive an evaluation form for events in the further training categories A-C.
• If you wish, you can have your events published in the calendar of events of the East German Chamber of Psychotherapists (OPK).

Note: As the organizer, you are obliged to keep a list of participants and to make it available to the East German Chamber of Psychotherapists upon request after the event.

• Application: Submission no later than the day before the 1st day of the event (retroactive accreditation excluded)
