• § 24 Gesetz zum Schutz der Kulturpflanzen (PflSchG) – Anzeigepflicht

Report when supplying plant protection products for commercial purposes (trade and import) according to § 2 Saxon Plant Protection Ordinance - SächsPflSchVO and § 24 paragraph 1 Plant Protection Act.

The import and trade of plant protection products are subject to report.

Please Note: This report does not replace the trade permit of the trade supervisory authority for the placing on the market of toxic and very toxic plant protection products or of substances which are marked with the hazard symbols T (toxic) or T+ (very toxic) according to the Hazardous Substances Ordinance.

The competent authority must also be notified immediately of any changes to the indicated ratios.

Note: If you apply plant protection products for others or wish to advise others on the use of plant protection products, you must also report this.

Single Point of Contact

For this procedure, you can use the service of the Single Point of Contact (Einheitlicher Ansprechpartner). They will guide you through the administrative procedure, take care of correspondence with all the offices responsible for your request and will be available to you as a competent advisor.

• Name and address of the business and of the business owner or manager
• Location of the activity
• Name and proof of the required professional knowledge and skills (certificate of competence) of the persons handling plant protection products

Only persons holding a valid certificate of competence (Sachkundenachweis) may advise others on the use of plant protection products.

• Before you start trading in plant protection products, submit the fully completed notification to the LfULG together with all the necessary documents. Alternatively, you can also submit the notification to the Single Point of Contact in the Free State of Saxony.
