Notification of advice to others for commercial purposes or in the context of other economic undertakings on the use of plant protection products according to §1 Sächsische Pflanzenschutzverordnung (SächsPflSChVO) and § 10 sentence 1 Pflanzenschutzgesetz (PflSchG).

Advising others on the use of plant protection products is subject to notification if this is intended as a commercial or other economic activity. 

The competent authority must also be informed immediately of any changes to the notified conditions.

Note: If you want to apply plant protection products for others or trade in plant protection products, you must also notify this.

Single Point of Contact

For this procedure, you can use the service of the Single Point of Contact (Einheitlicher Ansprechpartner). They will guide you through the administrative procedure, take care of correspondence with all the offices responsible for your request and will be available to you as a competent advisor.

• Name and address of the company and of the owner or manager of the company
• Name, address and proof of the required professional knowledge and skills (Sachkundenachweis) of the persons advising others on the use of plant protection products.

Only persons holding a valid certificate of competence may advise others on the use of plant protection products.

Before you start advising others on the use of plant protection products, submit the fully completed notification to the responsible department together with all required documents. Alternatively, you can also submit the notification to the Single Point of Contact in the Free State of Saxony.

Notification of commercial advice to others on the use of plant protection products must be made before commencing the activity.
