Application for authorisation to carry out demolition and renovation work in the presence of asbestos in weakly bound form in accordance with Annex I No. 2.4.2 (4) of the Ordinance on Hazardous Substances (GefStoffV)
A licence as a specialist company is required for demolition and renovation work on weakly bound asbestos products. Activities involving materials containing asbestos must also be notified to the competent authority before work begins.
In principle, the manufacture, use and processing of hazardous materials containing asbestos is prohibited for both companies and private individuals. Exceptions apply to activities involving materials containing asbestos during demolition, renovation and maintenance work.

- operational equipment in accordance with the Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances (TRGS) 519 on the handling of asbestos in order to protect people from health hazards caused by asbestos.
Approval as a specialised company according to Annex I No. 2.4.2 Para. 4 of the Ordinance on Hazardous Substances is granted upon written application.
