In order to ensure participation in working life, the competent rehabilitation agency pays subsidies for a necessary disability-friendly design of training and workplaces.

If you live with a disability, the Employment Agency can help you with the following questions:

• How can I re-enter working life?
• How can I adapt my workplace to my needs?
• What help is available for me?

Your employment agency (Agentur für Arbeit) will support you before and during training, in further vocational training and in your everyday working life.

Important: First contact the Integration Office (Integrationsamt) or check whether you are obliged to provide disability-friendly arrangements.

Prescribed forms (provided by the Federal Employment Agency)

• The Integration Office does not cover the costs of equipment for the disabled.
• There is no legal obligation on the employer.

Submit a written application to the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit) using the prescribed forms. However, the application can also be submitted to any social benefit agency and any rehabilitation agency.

• If the Federal Employment Agency determines that another rehabilitation provider is responsible, your application will be forwarded accordingly.
• You will be informed in writing about the receipt and, if applicable, the forwarding of your application.
